Linkin Park To Reunite For Chester Bennington Memorial Concert

The surviving members of Linkin Park will reunite for the first time since the death of frontman Chester Bennington for a one-night memorial concert at the Hollywood Bowl on Friday, October 27th. Unannounced special guests will also perform to pay tribute to the Bennington, who took his own life on July 20th.

A pre-sale for the show begins Tuesday, September 19th, with a general on-sale following on Friday, September 22nd on Linkin Park's website. The concert will raise money for Music for Relief's One More Light Fund in memory of Bennington.

The band also released a new music video for their title track “One More Light,” which uses performance and backstage footage to show Bennington's strong impact on his fans and fellow bandmates.

“‘One More Light’ was written with the intention of sending love to those who lost someone. We now find ourselves on the receiving end,” Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda explained in a statement posted with the video. “In memorial events, art, videos, and images, fans all over the world have gravitated towards this song as their declaration of love and support for the band and the memory of our dear friend, Chester. We are so very grateful and can’t wait to see you again.”
